Microsoft has finally confirmed the official rollout date for Windows 11. The operating system will start rolling out to eligible machines starting October 5. The Windows 11 operating system is available in beta to Windows Insider Preview members in both Dev and Public channels right now. The version allows users and developers to get an early impression of the operating system and test its features.

Currently, there are two ways users can install Windows 11 on their laptop or desktop. The most common and easiest method is via Windows update. Another method is to ‘clean install’ the operating system. For this you’ll need a bootable USB drive for Windows 11. For this you’ll need three things: Windows 11 Insider Preview ISO file, a tool to create a bootable drive and a USB drive with 16GB of storage.

Create bootable USB drive
To create a bootable USB drive, you’ll need to download a tool. Rufus and Windows Media Creation Tools are among the two popular options. Here we are using Microsoft Media Creation Tool.

1.Open ‘https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/software-download/windows10’ and click on the Download tool now button.

2.Once downloaded, plug in your pendrive and open the tool3.Now, select the option ‘Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC’5.And click the Next button again6.At the next stage, select USB flash drive option7.Then, click on Next and follow it by clicking on the Finish button.Do note that the process takes a while to create the bootable drive. Once down, restart your system and open BIOS. Here you’ll need to choose the option Boot from USB Drive or whatever this option reads in your system’s BIOS.Now, follow the installation process to clean install Windows 11 on your system.
