I'm currently trying to reinstall windows 10 onto my PC after just installing Linux Mint. The same issue occurred then but I could fix it with nomodeset on grub.
After I chose which partition to install Windows 10 into, I got through the first two steps where it prepares the PC for installing, but when I checked again, the screen went black and in the near-upper parts of the screen, there are purple, green and white dotted lines going horizontal.
I'm using a USB to download Windows 10 from the Media Creation Tool, not Rufus (for Linux I used Rufus). My PC use Pro Series intel motherboard, and I can't get the exact specs since there's NOTHING to be seen on the screen.
I've never really done anything like this before on my PC, so any help would be appreciated! (And sorry for the bad format/explanation, this is my first time here)
