If you have a brand new laptop or PC, it must be compatible with Windows 11 and may even come with it preloaded. However, problems may develop with previous versions of PCs since their hardware may not fulfil the criteria of Windows 11. The primary problem, though, is CPU compatibility. If your computer has an Intel CPU from the 7th generation or before, the newest update will not work with it.
Might Lose Some of the Features
There are some features that you may like and don’t want to remove. The reason may be anything from liking the feature to relying on them for the whole. But upgrading to Windows 11 can lead you to lose multiple features. For example, in Windows 10, the taskbar may currently be docked at the top or on either side of the screen, but in Windows 11, it can only be docked at the bottom. The capability of dragging a file onto the taskbar and pinning it as a shortcut will also be removed as part of the update. There are plenty of additional similar features, and if you are unwilling to give them up, you may choose to postpone the update.
